Pioneer Credit Recovery, Inc. has two openings for experienced HR Generalists in our Perry, NY office. The incumbents in this position will be responsible for assisting the manager/director of Human Resources with special projects, ad hoc reports, employee relations’ issues, compensation and benefits. This position will be crossed trained to perform the duties of Support Specialist Administrator and Assistant during the vacancy or staffing of that position. Essential job functions: Promptly gather information in addressing employee relations issues, Escalate issues to appropriate management member as necessary, Document issues in writing, Inform HR Manager of all actions with regard to employee relation issues, Approve and advise management with disciplinary actions following appropriate policy and procedure guidelines, Partner with Lines of Business to assist with retention and policy improvements, Answer questions concerning employee’s compensation and benefit issues. Assist with Support Specialist Administrator's duties as needed: EAF’s, PDF, benefit entry, Audit information entered into HRIS, Assists in interview process for department and recruiting when requested, Contact for ADA and related accommodations, Research and respond to unemployment claims. Attend hearings as necessary, Manage annual open enrollment process, updates to Benefit Orientation materials, benefit information meetings and fairs, Communicate with corporate and company contacts for benefits, Maintain relationships with external benefit vendors.
Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field, 3-5 years of experience in the HR field, working knowledge of federal and state labor legislation and regulations, customer service based philosophy toward HR, proficient PC skills in the Microsoft product line including: word, Excel, and PowerPoint. PHR/SPHR certification is helpful. Must be able to analyze employee compensation information and provide recommendation based on analysis. Must have a team-oriented philosophy in accomplishing department goals. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills for communication with all levels of Center staff. Must be able to multi-task. Must be able to stay organized while working on multiple projects. Strong knowledge of PC based programs |
