||Payroll Specialist/Assistant Accountant

Objective: Maintain accurate and timely
processing of payroll and personnel files; Administer staff insurance; Process
and track unemployment and DBL claims; Assist with general ledger maintenance
of various companies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Minimum of
two (2) years experience in general accounting including AR & AP.
using an accounting package software for GL, AR, and AP.

Degree in Accounting preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree a plus.
Thoroughly competent in English,
verbal, writing and reading.
Ability to calculate figures and
amounts such as discounts, interest, duty/taxes, commissions and percentages.
Ability to solve practical problems and
deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited
Ability to interpret a variety of
instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Able to obtain detailed technical
and/or practical information necessary to carry out duties and responsibilities
as described above from appropriate sources.
Proficient in usage of MS Word and
Excel, email and the internet. IBM
A/S400 a plus.
Able to perform well in a high activity
and time sensitive environment. Able to
travel to visit Clients at their locations from time to time.
