BNHRA Speakers Bureau
 
 
 
As the leading professional organization in the Buffalo Niagara region for human resources expertise, we are frequently contacted to provide polished, knowledgeable speakers on topics pertinent to the people side of doing business.
 
The BNHRA Speaker's Bureau stands ready to provide our member organizations with subject matter experts on a variety of HR-related topics for their next management meeting, all-employee meeting, brown bag training session, or student event. Available speakers are BNHRA members who enjoy public speaking (some are even trainers and professional speakers!) and who have agreed to represent BNHRA while speaking on topics in which they have expertise or experience. As a service to our members, our speakers will speak locally without a fee. Any honorarium will be donated to the SHRM Foundation.

Invitations should be extended directly to the individual speakers, and all arrangements are to be worked out in advance between the host and the invited speaker. We ask the host to confirm arrangements with the speaker in writing (email), with a copy sent to the BNHRA Administrator; info@bnhra.org

NOTE: BNHRA is pleased to provide these names of BNHRA members who have volunteered to participate in its Speaker's Bureau. The BNHRA Board has reviewed the basic credentials of the speakers and titles of their talks for appropriateness. However, BNHRA does not endorse the content of the talks nor do the speakers necessarily represent the views of BNHRA. Their views are their own.

About Deborah Stauring:
Deborah, a co-owner of this registered investment advisory firm, has been with Harold C. Brown & Co., LLC for twenty-nine years and acts in the capacity of financial planner and a senior portfolio manager. In addition, she instructs interactive financial education programs that cover a wide range of topics from the basics of money management to more advanced topics such as retirement planning and estate planning.   Deborah has obtained certification from the College for Financial Planning in Denver and has a background in finance and economics.  She has also earned the Chartered Financial Consultant designation from the Huebner School of the American College in Pennsylvania and the industry designation of Accredited Investment Fiduciary to assist trustees and other fiduciaries in their responsibilities.  Also, from the American College, Deborah received the Chartered Analyst for Senior Living designation.  She is a member of the Financial Planning Association and is a candidate for the Daughters of the American Revolution.  Deborah provides portfolio management, community education to businesses and military families, and financial plan supervision.

Richard helps his clients determine long-term financial goals and implement customized investment strategies that maximize returns while minimizing risk. He is able to provide a wide array of financial services including wealth management, assistance in developing financial strategies, retirement planning, college planning, and investment portfolio development. Richard also helps clients focus on estate planning issues and will work with their advisers in developing their estate plan. Through the College for Financial Planning, Richard has earned the designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®). With this increased knowledge, Richard provides more effective financial strategies based upon assisting clients to plan for their pre- and post-retirement needs.
